What is the Square Footage Calculator?
This square footage calculator multiplies a length by a width, both in feet, to give the area in square feet and square metres. If you enter a price per square foot, it also gives the total cost. It suits rooms, plots, flooring, tiling and rent or purchase estimates.
How it works
Area in square feet is length multiplied by width. Area in square metres is the square feet multiplied by 0.09290304, since one foot is exactly 0.3048 metres. Total price is the area in square feet multiplied by the price per square foot that you enter.
