What is the Follower Growth Rate Calculator?
Follower growth rate shows how much your audience changed over a period, as a percentage of where you started. This tool also gives the net followers gained and the average per day. A negative result means you lost followers. Compare periods of equal length for a fair view.
How it works
Net change = followers at end minus followers at start. Growth % = net change / followers at start x 100. Average per day = net change / days. Results are net figures, so followers gained and lost during the period cancel out. Zero start or zero days gives zero.

Does this include followers who left?
It shows net change only, so new followers and unfollows are combined. Your platform insights can show gains and losses separately.
Which period should I use?
Use the same length each time, such as 30 days, so growth rates are comparable. Campaign spikes can distort short periods.
