What is the Add Days to Date Calculator?
This calculator adds a number of days to a start date, or subtracts them if you enter a negative number. It shows the resulting date and the weekday it falls on. Use it for delivery dates, payment due dates, notice periods and project deadlines.
How it works
The start date is treated as a calendar date and the entered number of days is added to it, moving through months and leap years correctly. A negative number moves the date backwards. The weekday is then read from the resulting date.

Can I subtract days instead of adding?
Yes. Enter a negative number such as -15 and the tool moves the date back by 15 days.
Are weekends and holidays skipped?
No. Every calendar day is counted. Use the working days calculator if you need to leave out weekends.
Does it handle month ends and leap years?
Yes. The result follows the real calendar, so 28 February plus two days correctly lands on 1 March or 29 February depending on the year.
