What is the Number to Words (Indian)?
The Number to Words converter spells out any number in the Indian system, using thousand, lakh and crore. With the Rupees option on, it writes amounts as "Rupees ... Only" and reads decimals as paise, the form often needed on cheques, invoices and receipts. Enter the number and copy the words.
How to use it

What are lakh and crore?
A lakh is one hundred thousand (1,00,000) and a crore is ten million (1,00,00,000). They are part of the Indian numbering system.
How are decimals handled?
With the Rupees option on, the digits after the point become paise, rounded to two places. With it off, each digit is read out after the word Point.
How large a number can I enter?
Up to 15 digits before the decimal point. Commas in your input, such as 12,34,567, are accepted and ignored.
