Questions

Palindrome & Anagram Checker — FAQ

What is a palindrome?

It is a word or phrase that reads the same forwards and backwards, such as level, or "Never odd or even" once spaces and capitals are ignored.

What is an anagram?

Two texts are anagrams when they use exactly the same letters the same number of times in a different order, such as listen and silent.

Does the anagram check ignore spaces?

Yes. Spaces, punctuation and capitals are ignored, so "Dormitory" and "Dirty room" count as anagrams.
