Query String Parser

Break a URL or query string into decoded key and value pairs, plus a JSON object.

Parameters

In short

What is the Query String Parser?

The query string parser takes a full URL or just the part after the question mark and lists every parameter as a decoded key and value, one per line. It also builds a JSON object, collecting repeated keys into arrays. It is useful for debugging tracking links, redirects and API requests.

How to use it

  1. Paste a full URL or a query string such as a=1&b=2.
  2. Read the decoded key and value lines.
  3. Tick the JSON option to also get an object you can paste into code.
Questions

Query String Parser — FAQ

Does it decode percent-encoded values?

Yes. Codes such as %20 become spaces, and a plus sign in a query is also read as a space, as in form submissions.

What happens with repeated keys?

Each repeat is listed on its own line, and in the JSON they are grouped into an array.

Is the URL sent anywhere?

No. Parsing happens in your browser, so links containing private tokens stay on your device.
