Word Frequency Counter — FAQ
What are stop words?
Stop words are very common words such as the, and, is and of. They rarely say anything about a topic, so hiding them makes the useful words easier to see.
How are ties ordered?
Words with the same count are listed alphabetically. Counting ignores capital letters, so Apple and apple are the same word.
Is this a keyword density checker?
It shows raw counts, not percentages. Divide a word count by the total words analysed if you want a density figure.
