What is the Invoice Generator?
The Invoice Generator turns your seller and buyer details and a list of items into a printable tax invoice with line totals, subtotal, GST split equally into CGST and SGST, the grand total and optionally the amount in Indian words. It runs in your browser, so nothing you type is uploaded.
How to use it
- Enter the seller and buyer names, addresses and GSTIN.
- Type one line item per line as description | quantity | rate.
- Enter the GST percentage that applies to your supply.
- Check the preview, then print or save as PDF.
Invoice Generator — FAQ
How are the line items written?
Write each item on its own line with three parts separated by a vertical bar, for example Website design | 1 | 25000. Blank or incomplete lines are skipped or treated as zero.
How is GST shown?
You type one GST percentage and the tool splits it equally into CGST and SGST on the invoice. For inter-state supply you would normally show IGST instead, so adjust the document accordingly.
Can I add my own invoice number?
Yes. The invoice number, date and due date are plain fields. The Invoice Number Generator on this site can make a numbered sequence for you.
