What is the UPI QR Code Generator?
This tool builds a standard UPI payment link and QR code from a UPI ID, payee name and an optional amount and note. It only creates the link. It moves no money itself: the payer scans or opens it in their own UPI app, which handles the payment. Double-check the UPI ID before sharing.
How to use it
- Enter the UPI ID exactly as it appears in your UPI app, for example name@bank.
- Add the payee name that payers should see.
- Optionally add a fixed amount and a short note; leave the amount at 0 to let the payer type it.
- Scan the QR code with a UPI app, or send a small test payment to yourself, before you share it.

Does this tool receive or hold any money?
No. It only formats a payment link. The payment is made in the payer's own UPI app and goes to the UPI ID in the link.
What happens if I leave the amount at 0?
The amount is left out of the link, so the payer's app asks them to enter it. Add an amount when you want a fixed price.
Will every UPI app accept this link?
The link follows the common UPI deep-link format that most apps understand, but behaviour can vary by app. Test with the apps your customers use.
